CHOOSE ONE OPTION

MONDAY 4/27

OPTION #1: REVISIT
Building/Testing Paper Airplanes

If you choose option #1, you will be constructing at least 2 different paper airplane models and determine which is best for distance. You will use the following data sheet to record your results.
https://www.teachengineering.org/content/cub_/activities/cub_airplanes/cub_airplanes_lesson06_activity1_worksheet.pdf

FIRST:
Check every link to make sure they all work and read all instructions before beginning your engineering task.

SECOND:
Watch both videos as many times as you need.

Video #1: Why can't airplanes fly to space?
https://safeyoutube.net/w/OBK8
Stop the video at 6:00. You will NOT be using the pattern shown.

Video #2: How to make a paper airplane
https://safeyoutube.net/w/5qb9

NOTE:
You do not have to make the paper airplane on this video, but do watch both carefully. They give valuable information.

NOTE:
Do NOT climb to retrieve your airplane.

Do NOT throw or aim your airplanes at other people or at animals.

NEVER fly your airplanes on a cloudy or bad weather day. You will need
adult supervision.

Be responsible, careful, and considerate while constructing and testing any engineering project.%
