Heather L. Montgomery

Heather L. Montgomery

"I'm fascinated by bugs and rocks and things that seem gross, but I wasn't always...
As a child, I climbed trees, caught crabs and played sports, but
was petrified of spiders and
did not like getting dirty.  Now I let spiders
crawl up my arm, paint my face with dirt and dig
scat (you can learn lots from animal poop).
Why am I now fascinated instead of freaked
Knowledge. The more you learn, the less you fear. "
- Heather L. Montgomery

Students are in for an exciting day as nonfiction author,
Heather L. Montgomery takes the stage.  She will inspire students to look closer, dig deeper, and question the things around them.  She is an inspiration for reading, research, and science in education. Following an exciting school day students are invited back with their parents for Family Reading Night. Heather will share with parents how to engage and
make reading meaningful for their children.
