The mission of Hokes Bluff Elementary School is to provide a quality education that enables students to apply academic and life skills to achieve their maximum potential.
HBES is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, a Division of AdvancED. We are a Title I school and our faculty is 100% certified.

Hokes Bluff Elementary is one of eleven elementary schools in the Etowah County School District.
Hokes Bluff is located in Etowah County at latitude 33.998 and longitude -85.866. The elevation is 587 feet. Etowah County is in the Central time zone. Hokes Bluff has a population of 4,252.
Arrival & Dismissal Schedule
Arrival 7:20am Student drop off begins Please do not drop off students before 7:20am 7:45am School Begins 7:46am Students are considered Tardy and must be checked in by a guardian.
Dismissal 2:35pm Dismissal Starts 2:55pm ALL STUDENTS HAVE BEEN DISMISSED.
